Liverpool failed to be able to topple their close neighbors Everton at Anfield this afternoon as the Merseyside Derby ended in a frustrating 0-0 draw for both sides.
While Everton fans will take it as another reasons to celebrate as they are now close to ensuring they will finish above Liverpool for two consecutive seasons, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher will be sad for another reason not to have won.
This marks the last and final Merseyside Derby for the seasoned veteran that has enjoyed a renaissance of his career in the second half of the season being able to push the sun back into the sky for a little while longer.
