PSG’s Ezequiel Lavezzi Eyeing Move to Milan
Paris Saint Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi is said to be looking to move to either AC Milan or Inter Milan this off season.
There have been reports that both AC Milan and Inter Milan have sparked interest in Lavezzi as he could bolster the offense for both squads and that he has not ruled out the option of a move to the city of Milan.
Lavezzi, who is new to PSG ,is no stranger to Serie A play. The Argentine International spent five seasons playing for Napoli where he made 156 appearances for the club and proved to have a lethal touch. Lavezzi has said he will listen to any offers that come his way. Lavezzi told Gazzetta de Sport (Via Sky Sports) ”I like coming here a lot. A future in the city of Milan? Never say never.”
Lavezzi would be a nice addition to what is shaping up to be a devastating front line for AC Milan. Lavezzi would join Mario Balotelli who has regained his confidence and form upon his arrival in Milan. He would also join Stephan El Shaarawy who is proving himself to be one of the top goal scorers in the world. The 20-year-old has netted 16 goals in his 32 Serie A appearances this season. Lavezzi could be the final piece AC Milan would need to reclaim the top spot in Serie A and compete at an even higher level in European play.
Working against this speculation is the reports that PSG is ready to sign Napoli forward and former teammate of Lavezzi, Edinson Cavani. PSG are speculated to be ready to pull the trigger on a 63 million Euro deal for the prolific scorer. The signing of Cavani who has scored 23 goals for Napoli, could play a major factor in Lavezzi’s decision to take offers elsewhere.
