Manchester United host Chelsea on Sunday in which should feature plenty of goals for both sets of supporters in attendance at Old Trafford.  Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck and captain Nemanja Vidic are all unlikely to feature at the weekend as all are injured, while Young suffered a more severe season ending ankle injury back in the Manchester Derby.  For the Blues, Rafa Benitez should have a fairly healthy side pending any injury in their Europa League second leg fixture against FC Basel midweek.

In all competitions, Chelsea currently lead the season series between these two Premier League giants 2-1: United’s win coming in the league while the Blues ousted the Red Devils in both the Capital One Cup and FA Cup, respectively.  Yet, despite having the edge on United this season, Old Trafford has been a fortress to the Blues as they’ve only recorded one win in their last ten meetings at Old Trafford.

For Manchester United, finishing the last three Premier League matches on a high note will likely be at the forefront of Sir Alex Ferguson’s mind - while Rafa Benitez and Chelsea will look to secure Champions League football for next term.  The Blues currently sit in third place (19-8-7, 65 points) and are one point above fourth place Arsenal and three ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.  As the Premier League season gets down to the nitty-gritty, the Blues must continue to push forward in hopes of securing a spot in Europe, which would be a solid finish to a very rocky term.
