FC Barcelona are the front runners for Brazil’s wonder-kid Neymar; However, does that mean a player will have to leave Camp Nou?

Neymar, 21, is Brazil’s most priced possession. Many clubs around Europe have been trying to sign the youngster for years. The transfer saga is finally nearing the end as Neymar will be in contract year next season. According to a report by the International Business Times, Neymar’s coach at Santos, Muricy Ramalho, believes the 21-year-old will sign for the Cules.

If he goes abroad it has to be to Barcelona, because they have a similar playing style. If we have to choose a future for Neymar, I think it´s with them.

The young Brazilian striker is also being closely monitored by Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and others. Neymar has been recently quoted saying he would like to “play for a big club like Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Chelsea.

Neymar has played 216 official matches for Santos and scored 131 goals.

He has also already played 23 games for the Brazilian national team, scoring 16 times.

Should Neymar arrive at the Camp Nou during the summer, Barcelona will be almost forced to sell one of its strikers to make room for the Brazilian.

After months of speculations about David Villa leaving the Cules for Arsenal, the move might not occur as Villas has raised his level of play lately and earned a new contract offer from Barcelona. Villa was being ferociously linked with the Gunners last transfer season, however, the transfer did not come to a reality as Barcelona were not willing to let him go.

With Villa likely stay put, Arsenal have turned their focus on the Spaniard’s teammate, Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean is believed to be on the move this upcoming summer as he has under-performed under the critics eyes.

It is believed that Barcelona will listen to offers for the Chilean international. Arsenal are expected to be one of the teams fighting for the 24-year-old.

Fabrizio Larini, Udinese’s sporting director said a move to Arsenal would be “ideal” for Sanchez.

Arsenal will face tough competition for Sanchez’s signature, as Liverpool and Manchester City are expected to bid for the player.

This season Alexis Sanchez has played 32 games overall, scoring only five goals while registering an impressive 32 assists.

Dude, do some fact-checking! Sanchez has 10 assists this year. 32 would be astronomical! Obviously you know nothing of footballor a giant red flag would have come up when you put your pathetic math skills to work! If you combine all the goals and assists Sanchez has accumulated in his ywo yesrs at Barça it only amounts to 30!

  2. Jason says:

Hey DeAndre, if you click on the link of Alexis Sanchez you can see that he does indeed have 32 assists on the season, not the year, you should read the last sentence again.

any striker that goes 2 barca ll ve 2 live in Messi’s shadow so barca shd nt make any complain about their strikers even Zlatan and ETO were forced out of barca sanchez is a good player anyday anytym but any body that wants 2 pass ball has 2 gv it 2 messi wt’ll the other strikers do they ve 2 be providing assist 4 messi otherwise they’ll be frozen out so there is nothing they can do about it

  4. Mike says:

@Christy… Not sure if uve done ure research about how deadly messi and Neymar wuld be in a team, Neymar can play a passing game so can Messi, that’s what he does for Argentina. Now put those two in one team u get an opposing team trying to mark Messi and we all know that’s close to impossible and what do u get Neymar with a lot of space at the wing, we get him cutting in and GOALS GALORE, now teLl me ull get 4 defenders 2 on Neymar, 2 on Messi, whose marking, Iniesta, Cesc, Xavi…. NEYmar culd potentially be the best signing the Catalilans have ever made
