Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United: The Goals in Pictures and Video Reaction
Tottenham visited Old Trafford yesterday, a venue where they’d failed to grab three points since December of 1989. With Wayne Rooney back from injury, United looked to have a deadly attacking three in Robin Van Persie, Shinji Kagawa, and the stocky Englishman. It wasn’t United who got off the mark first, however, as Spurs’ Jan Vertonghen needed only 2 minutes to put the visitors ahead. What followed suit was a wild game with plenty of goals, excitement, and an unlikely three points for the visitors. Below, the goals in pictures as well as reaction from both managers, Bale, and Vertonghen.
