Liverpool looking to add width and attacking prowess with Barcelona outcast Alexis Sanchez
Liverpool is set to potential make a big financial outlay in the January transfer window. After a frustrating summer period in the market, manager Brendan Rodgers is believed finally set to be allowed to have his hands on the Reds purse strings; at least within reason.
According to TalkSport on Oct. 15, 2012 Barcelona outcast and former Udinese standout Alexis Sanchez has been linked to the club. Not only is Sanchez a threat from the wide areas, but he also proved last season that he could score during the final season of Pep Guardiola’s reign at the Catalan club.
However, with the new regime in place, Sanchez has seen his playing time fall away and what once looked a promising future at the Camp Nou now appears to be a major disappointment.
Liverpool could use a wide left side player that has the ability to play pass and move football. His training at Barcelona under Guardiola is similar to the style of play that Brendan Rodgers employs and he could be a great addition.
