According to TalkSport on May 15, 2013, despite having lost their boss David Moyes to Manchester United, Everton are already looking to make some additions this summer in anticipation of their next major transition.

Reports claim that the Merseyside club are looking to make a move for FC Porto winger Christian Atsu. However, Everton could be facing tough competition for the player with Tottenham.

Although Atsu only made eight starts and eight substitute appearances for the Dragons in the Portuguese Liga, Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas managed the player during his time at the helm of Porto and he could be keen to reunite with the player in North London.
