Aston Villa: Projected line up to face Manchester City
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert knew that his first season with the Villains was going to be a tough one, but it is almost certain he did not intend to be battle relegation.
However, the club have been making strides in the right direction the last few weeks and have had some great performances this season. The trouble with Villa continues to be one that plagues many other English Premier League sides, consistency.
The club were hard done by to lose to Arsenal last weekend after putting in a true shift in hopes of taking a draw against the Gunners. Santi Cazorla’s late strike was a disappointing event and seemed to sum up the club’s entire season.
Villa face off against defending champions and current second place EPL side Manchester City on Monday afternoon and they will be looking to claim another big scalp before the season is over.
Richard Dunne and Marc Albrighton are both ruled out, but Shay Given, Ron Vlaar and Darren Bent are expected to be healthy for the match.
Projected Aston Villa Starting XI: Guzan; Lowton, Baker, Clark, Bennett; Westwood, Delph; Wiemann, N’Zogbia, Agbonlahor; Benteke.
