It was goals galore on Saturday evening at The Emirates as Arsenal hosted Newcastle in a 10 goal thriller. Theo Walcott once again starred for Arsenal, scoring his second hat-trick in under three months for the Gunners, while Olivier Giroud came off the bench to provide a brace that helped secure three more vital points for Arsenal. Newcastle United proved to be a a difficult opponent to break-away from, as the Magpies continued to match Arsenal’s goal-scoring efforts to 3-3. Demba Ba scored twice, but it wasn’t enough as Arsenal pulled away at 4-3 and finished the game at 7-3.
Which goal was the best? There were certainly several to pick from: Walcott’s first goal brought back memories of Thierry Henry, while his third showed his individual brilliance and strength. Giroud’s first goal was also stunning, but Chamberlain’s strike from outside of the box was top as well.
